CARBONE & VUDAFIERI
cellula
In 1997, anthologie quartett presented the hanging lamp Cellula, designed by the two Milanese designers Nunzia Carbone and Tiziano Vudafieri, for the first time at the Tendence in Frankfurt.
The lamp was created for the central table in a guest house that a Milanese art collector had designed in a large loft by the designer duo Carbone / Vudafieri;
From a variety of very different prisms purchased at flea markets and a simple aluminum tube, Carbone / Vudafieri create the contemporary reinterpretation of the classic chandelier, which unusually quickly hits the nerve of the times and becomes the archetype of a new generation of modern chandeliers.
In addition to the clear hand-cut crystals, colored crystal pairs are available for accentuation.
